Wind Powered Generator - A superior teaching aid, this generator incorporates new opportunities for student experiments in aerodynamic electricity transfer. The generator blade assembly consists of six vanes, 37cm in diameter, with a total sail area of 77cm2. This is connected to a DC generator and 1.5 volt bulb to indicate electrical output. Other features include a full cover for outdoor use, a weighted base, a structural aluminum tower, and a wind-seeking, balanced tail assembly. The unit may be used outside, or inside with an air supply. Comes complete with instruction sheets and teacher's manual. Size: 48cm H.

Hi, I’m Erik Astrand and the man behind this site.

My story?
I am about to be 50 and all my life I have been interested in technical things. Not sure if the special interest for the wind, and how to use the wind, started when I as a 5 year old boy and got my first sail dinghy.
