Humdinger wind energy provides a really interesting touch to the wind energy field. Their innovative products like the Windcell and the Windbelt are very welcome to the market.
The system is not based upon the traditional rotating airfoils to get energy from the wind; this is constructed to harvest the energy with a belt and relies on an aerodynamic phenomenon known as aeroelastic flutter. This is the same phenomenon that was behind the catastrophe in 1940.

We have gone from windmills to wind turbines and now we see some new products that also are suitable for the local market.
The large systems are a combination of many smaller “windcell panels” that harvest the wind with some similarities from the solar panels. They are built in modules and can be combined into really large systems and at a very low cost.
