| This DIY how-to book covers everything you need to know to build a Cretan-style windpump, with every possible detail for the "spinner" and a bit less for the actual piston pump. Drawings contain excellent detail, photos are so-so but adequate. The author claims nearly twice the pumping capacity as the model he based his on, and he's done the tests to prove it. This is a low-lift device, but the spinner could drive another type of pump, as well as a flywheel for grinders, mill, washing machine, reciprocal saw, etc. |
