im trying to go green,but my local utilty is no help. no energy audits or alternative power assitance.

I mean,one price and includes instalation of ALL compoents, wireing to code, trenching, location, and erecting the wind mill it self.

I was wondering if anyone had instructions with pictures to build this turbine, i need it for my science fair project so i need it to cost under 30$, I only need it to power the small light bulb.

I want to build u an average sized wind turbine generator (about 1 Meter each Wing Size). so that i can get electricity for my home based appliances such as TV, AC, Refrigerators, etc.

What would be the requirements.. so i need to take any statutory approvals / license to do so,, and how to give input to my main Line into the home.

A fierce spring storm roared up and down Vancouver Island, knocking power out to about 90 thousand customers at the height of the storm.

I am for it because it is better than nuclear power, which will destroy everything around it’s radius and then some. With wind power it is better for the environment.

What’s your opinion and why?

I own five acres of land in a very sunny part of Colorado. The subdivision in which I have the land has no active HOA and there are no covenants that prevent me from putting up as many solar panels and windmills as I can handle. How would I go about selling land for solar or wind power or even getting it going and just getting a check every month?

I am planning to go for a wind turbine of 500 watts to install for domestic use. With average wind speed of 15km/hr in my location, can anybody suggest me how much energy can be generated by this wind turbine and also which are the appliences to which this energy would sffice?

What are the mathematics/equations specially deal with wind power/wind turbine, in any way?

In the event of a perfect solar storm that causes major blackouts would having wind power help? And what is the likelihood of a perfect solar storm occurring that widespread blackouts would happen?
